  June 20, 2008 - After a tour of several vineyards in Napa, this was the one bottle we didn't have shipped home so we could enjoy it on our 10th anniversary. Unfortunately, when we unpacked it, wine had leaked out of the bottle into our suitcase. The cork was leaking (quite a lot actually!) Needless to say, the bottle was bad. We're hoping that Honig will replace it!

  May 26, 2006 - Elegant, silky cab with beautifully balanced tannins. Aromas/flavors of cocoa, plum, cherry, blackberry and currant. Round mouthfeel. Nice lingering finish.

  Fantastic first impression. Is this wine really 7 years old? Inky dark. Big body. Vibrant, youthful, even fruity primary nose. It tamed after a half hour or so to show more complexity with tobacco and leather notes added to raspberry syrup. Nice acidity and well-balanced tannins. The one down-side is the wine was starting to fade after about 1 1/2 hours.
