  March 10, 2012 - Two bottles opened tonight. Rather closed on first opening, but got better with time. Dill, damp earth, black cherry. The oak is winning out on this one, making it a bit dull. Second bottle showed a little more vibrancy with more black cherry coming to the front and a bit of Asian spice. This is really still a bit short of full maturity, but I don't think it will improve much.

  November 9, 2010 - New oak is very prominent on opening. After some airing, it shows as more integrated, with cherries and a hint of dark chocolate. Not very concentrated, and rather straightforward and primary at this point. I'm hoping this will improve with a little more time.

  February 11, 2010 - For $20 I thought this was very good, especially with food. Very well balanced, not too much of anything. Nice.
