  September 19, 2013 - Pnp. Medium strawberry flavors with unexpected touch of heat on front palate, initially decent but marred by a very unpleasant bitter finish. No better on second night.

  March 16, 2012 - Consumed over 2 days, note from day 2. Nose: Medium plus expressiveness, extra ripe black cherry, shoe leather, smoke (big oak influence), cinnamon, and spice - almost over the top, but not quite. Palate: Medium-full bodied, nice spice kick up front, red fruit - pomegranate and cherry, back-end dominated by extra ripe red fruit flavors which dominate a lengthy finish. This is a tough wine to score as it is borderline great and borderline over the top - I'm on the fence with this.

  June 17, 2011 - This was a lovely wine in a very nice place - really good balance of sweet fruit and sous bois on a pretty light yet sweet frame.
