December 25, 2015 - Just yummy flavors, nothing all that interesting a perfect little claret with just enough age on it that you didn't feel guilty opening it.

October 12, 2008 - Maroon color with light ruby rim. Concentrated aromas of wild dark berries, rotting strawberry, wet leaves, leather, and mushroom. Assertive black cherry and ripe raspberry on the palate. Rustic wood and bitter dark chocolate finish it off with pleanty of stone earth. Moderate dusty tannins. Very old-world profile. Perhaps a bit dry and austere. Decent second wine from a fine chateau. Needs air. Decanting recommended.
