December 12, 2020 - still drinking well and similar comments to 2019 tastings.
    Excellent. Very elegant.
    Colour: bright black berries
Bouquet: plums and black cherries, coffee, mint, oak and spice
Palate: as bouquet, plums, black and blue fruits, lots of mint, black tea, vanilla, eucalyptus, minerals and pencil shavings. Full bodied but very soft tannins, long clean balanced finish. Velvety.

November 18, 2019 - I got a lot of plum on this one. It’s not particularly complex. While 2005 was a good year, I don’t think this wine is getting any better. It was fine but not special and likely past it’s prime.

August 11, 2019 - Excellent. Cru Bourgeois Superieur, 13% alc. Seems a bit ageless.
    Colour: deep black berry
Bouquet: gorgeous blackberry, other black fruits such as cherries, cereal, spice
Palate: cascading black fruits and olives, plums, black pepper, chocolate, coffee, black pepper, mint, black tea, vanilla, eucalyptus, minerally and pencil shavings. Opens out to become quite full bodied with breathing, silky/velvet texture, quite fresh still but developed spice full fine grained soft tannins, long clean finish.

    March 29, 2019 - Very good, 13% alc.
    Colour: deep black berry
Bouquet: ripe red berries and plums, black fruits and sour cherries, old leather, coffee, black pepper, vanilla, mint
Palate: just as bouquet, particularly rich dense black fruits, forest floor, coffee, chocolate, mint, pepper, leather, quite full bodied but soft fine grained tannins, long dry clean finish. Superb and opens out over 2-3 hours really well.
