August 26, 2012 - Appearance: Bright and clear, medium (+) pink in color, with watery rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, medium (+) intensity and having developing aromas of ripe redcurrant, strawberry, raspberry, nutmeg, cloves and graphite.
Palate: Dry with medium (-) acidity, the wine is of medium alcohol and medium body, showing medium intensity flavors of redcurrant, raspberry, strawberry, stony and slightly peppery , with medium (-) length.
Conclusion: Good quality mid-priced US Rose with a good intense and reasonably complex nose of ripe currant and red fruit, supplemented by some spices. On the palate the acidity is a bit low yet still lively, with a balanced structure showing reasonably intense and complex flavors. The length is a bit short though, and with a salty finish. Ready to drink now and not intend for further ageing.

July 2, 2010 - A "weighty" rose but still refreshing. Lots of lime and strawberry on the palate and nose. Best domestic rose I've ever drunk!

April 6, 2010 - This went really well with our simple Chinese dinner. Had a really nice strawberry and cranberry nose and palate. Not an overwhelming amount of acidity. Is doing well on its own after dinner.

July 16, 2009 - As others have mentioned, tart berry and lime on the nose. Initially, a little too bitter in the mouth, but after an hour it settled into a very nice ripe strawberry with crisp acid. Pleasing finish that lasts 20-30 sec. I should mention that Mr. Kapcsandy provided me with this bottle after discovering I had a corked 2006 Rose. This bottle was a reminder of why I enjoy their wines.
