December 23, 2023 - This is probably a little past its prime, but quite enjoyable and great with steak. Some oxidation on opening, but it blew off with air. Plum and bramble fruits, with secondary wood and leather notes. Tannins we're fine grained, medium finish.

April 24, 2016 - Really nice showing. Plenty of life left, have one more bottle, I and don't feel like I need to rush it. Hour decant in, a little acidic, second hour, much smoother. Really rich fruit with gobs of plums, a little black currant. Long finish, food friendly, went great with grilled flat iron steaks. 10th anniversary weekend!

July 4, 2010 - oxydized midpalate, little left onthe nose and a tart finish. Opened this WAY too late!

March 20, 2005 - Good, solid nose - cedar, cigar box, bits of fruit. A bit less forthcoming on the palate. Still has pretty firm tannins, and the fruit needed to be coaxed with air, time, and food. Some astringency. Not much of a standalone wine, but complemented our filets decently.
