November 1, 2017 - Complex aromatics of smoke, herbs, cedar, meat, decaying leaves and earth. It has good detail in the mouth and crisp, tart berry fruits. The savoury elements boot in towards the finish and whilst it doesn't have a huge amount of flesh it is ethereal and long and a very engaging drink.

December 25, 2013 - Quite astonishing given its age. Still showing quite a bit of life, with the denser tertiary notes expected from a more than 40-year old wine. Bruised plum color, tar and earth on the nose, fruit faded but not by any means gone. Deserves a Bravo.
