  January 23, 2010 - Enjoyed this bottle. Very fragrant for an Italian wine, good dark color, coated the sides of the glass nicely. Very fruit forward, with an undercurrant of rather rough tannins. Nice finish. Opened an hour and a half before drinking; it could have used even more breathing time. This wine has everything needed to make a top-notch Super Tuscan, but the elements haven't quite come together yet. Would expect it to improve with another year or two of bottle age.

  May 24, 2009 - Elegant nose, good depth of tannins. However the palate did not live up to the nose. Missed the elegance that I would expect of a wine to this price. Will probably be better after 1-2 more years in the cellar.
