  December 11, 2012 - Very bitter, lots of stem and harsh alcohol. The more I drank, the less I cared how bad it was. By the time I finished the bottle I thought it was drinkable. My tongue was tempered into appreciating the bitter alcoholic sloshy wonderland of badness that the wine actually was. It was still wine. It got me drunk. God damn if it doesn't have that going for it. And only that.

  BOUQUET: Cooked black fruit, mild leather, mild spice, mild wood, mild butter, Porty = 10/14
  TASTE: medium body, soft, black fruits, medium finish = 12/18
  PREFERENCE: uninspiring, simple, mildly overcooked fruit, porty, uncharacteristic =1/4

  August 3, 2011 - Not a good wine. Strong alcohol, bitter, flat. Quite tannic and no complexity. Berries, but buried under the alcohol and bitterness. Did not enjoy at all.
