January 5, 2013 - very enjoryable bottle of wine, low tanins great nose and the wine lived up to the nose.

May 24, 2009 - Okay, I was wrong. This wine is evolving well and beginning to show where it's going.
Nose - high-toned cranberry, cassis and blackberry, with sandalwood, cardamon, vanillin, blackberry jam, star anise, and the slightest hint of creme de menthe.
Dusty oak, blackberry, cassis and raspberry, touches of cedar, lime, and lemon verbena, and a hint of tobacco. Good acid. Drink '13-'24. 93+ pts

    September 4, 2008 - Nose - blackberry, blueberry, camphor.
Prominent acid dominates olallieberry fruit, assertive dusty tannin.
The acid will always dominate, and the fruit will only fade. Good now with the right food. Don't age.
