October 30, 2023 - Tasted with friends to accompany venison. I found this in a stock check and have no knowledge of how I acquired it, probably many years ago. But it has been kept in temperature controlled cabinet. So interesting to open it.

Decanted 30 minutes. It has kept well! Fully mature, the nose had plummy fruit. The palate is smooth and silky, slightly dusty. Plenty of red berry fruits and retaining good balance. Yes, it is well matured and probably past its peak. But still drinking well and very enjoyable.

    August 6, 2022 - Rødorange farge.

Lukter av bløte, godt modne solbær.

Rød frukt. Akkurat passe med syre. Lite taniner. Velbalansert og smaken er godt integrerte. Sitter lenge igjen i munnen.

En meget god vin som har klart lagringen godt.

June 21, 2021 - Cork a bit infected with mold, but the wine still had lovely aromas of tar, wood and some fruit. Colour rather light wit slightly brown edge. Taste of mature wine, only smooth tannins left. Some discussions on whether there is bottle variation and this was more mature than others. Exciting to yeast the next bottle. Still a lovely wine.

January 23, 2021 - Developed aromas with leather and some wood. Tight and stern with a dry finish.

December 25, 2020 - Deep red, orange edge, long thin drops appearance. Red fruit, undergrowth, mushroom, leather, wood aroma. Blackberry, vanilla, mushroom, leather taste. Ripe red fruit, mellow tannins, decent acidity. Nice food wine. Drink now.
