April 2, 2009 - If you like AU Shiraz, of the cheaper type, you'll love this. It's like the cheaper stuff, but with some added character. Very jammy, very fruity, syrupy mouthfeel (that I was not keen on) and with a decent dose of acid and a bit of tannins. For $14 I don't think it's a good price, but you'll disagree if you're a fan of this type of thing.

January 21, 2009 - color: eggplant purple; nose: plenty of oaky cherry; taste: medium-weight mouthfeel tasting of plums and lots of pepper on the tongue and finishing with long, smooth, velvety taste of pepper mixed with chocolate; overall: very nice in all departments, assertive and fruity without tasting too much of alcohol, excellent quality for price ($14/bottle) -- would buy again -- compares favorably with Shotfire Shiraz ($16) and Eppalock Ridge Shiraz ($20) and better than fatty Boarding Pass Shiraz ($18 on sale).

tried 24 hours later - has considerably improved. It has this very fresh ripe dark sour cherry flavour which is delicious.
