  April 25, 2009 - Halfway between flawed and just mediocre. Nose has some iron and berry, but a rancid fishy aroma is much more distracting. Flavors of cherry cough syrup. Tannins are moderate and soft--a somewhat redeeming feature. Acid seems low, probably causing flat flavors and allowing some stinky spoilage aromas. Could go either way with flaw vs. low score, but low score seems appropriate since cough syrup is intrinsic.
