Community Tasting Notes 3

June 7, 2012 - Very impressive Barbera with rich, dark fruit on the nose - violets, dark cherries and perhaps some overripe strawberry topped with expensive tobacco. Perfect balance between fruit and maturity. Oak nicely integrated and subtle. On the palate, much more red fruit and a refreshingly high acidity.

April 24, 2010 - Nice structure with great intergation betwenn fruit and acid. Long aftertaste. Good stuff, but lacking somewhat in complexity.

February 2, 2009 - Outstanding Barbera. Rich raspberry, coffee, some oak. Great acidity and nice silky tannins.
