Community Tasting Notes 1

  • Mike Ritner wrote:

March 22, 2014 - Deep red with a little bricking at the edge. Full body. Very heady nose; black fruit, tobacco, and licorice with some medicinal notes, though this latter blew off with time. On the palate, lots of dense, very ripe blueberry and blackberry fruit. Overpowering at first, it needed 60-90 minutes to mellow. Tasty enough, but the wine was marred by being sorely lacking in acidity.
