Community Tasting Notes 2

September 30, 2011 - Has matured well and is ready at 6 years of age. Strawberries and raspberries, a bit medicinal, touches of earth and spicy oak; juicy, light, slightly firm tannins, a bit short. Plausible and pleasant. Now - 2013.

September 15, 2008 - Fall Bachanalia (Green Dolphin St, Chicago IL): nose: smokey nose filled with red cherries and blackberry tones. nice and simple showing off some of what makes graves a special region

taste: nice firm tannins with an underlying smoke tone, some scorched earth, red cherries, and blackberry tones

overall: a nice introductory wine. Well put together with some of the classic graves characteristics
