July 12, 2011 - P&P. Nose of Cherry, smokin' tires, mint, and cigar ash. Definitely thin on the palate, and most of the fruit seems to have disappeared? Some chocolate notes, but it get pretty astringent. One of the more disappointing efforts from artesa, and one of my least favorite Sonoma syrahs in a long time.

January 24, 2011 - Burnt rubber on the nose. Sweet cherry on the thin palate, turning tart on the finish. Not bad with pasta and an acidic tomato sauce.
