October 30, 2021 - Fresh and bright on the nose with citrus, wax, honey. Floral notes emerging with air.
At the same time intense and yet soft & broad on the palate with lovely fresh acidity to the fore. Quite evolved.
Not the most intense or driven of finishes but nice lift and pretty long.
Like the other 07s I've had recently this is in a terrific place right now and delicious. Unlike the Batard and Perrieres though I feel this needs drinking as the acidic structure is starting to dominate a touch.
Coming back after a few hours in the decanter a lick of oak was apparent. Not unattractive.

July 23, 2020 - DM Thursday Night Zoom Tasting: Tasted blind next to the 2008 and 2010 PYCM Corton-Charlemagne. This was singing right out of the gate. Really fresh and bright on the nose with plenty of lemon, minerals, and a bit of flinty-match stick. Great intensity on the palate and really floral with a solid lemon core. A touch of wood at the end but it couples well with the salty-briny finish that just caps this off. This is a powerful beast and was hitting on all cylinders tonight. The best of the flight for sure. Outstanding

May 28, 2020 - Fresh cream, orchard fruit, salted nuts, and white flowers on the nose. Rich and expansive on the palate, this has gained breadth, but lost some of the laser sharp focus of my last bottle. That said, there is plenty of tension. Ripe yet with a limestone chiseled structure behind the breadth and richness. This has the structure to carry its weight and then some. Powerful, yet deft on the palate with more orchard fruits, creme brulee, buttered popcorn, and florals. Very long, with a mouthwatering stony-chalky finish. It did grow with several hours in a decanter, but it is more evolved than I would have expected based on the brilliant, very youthful showing last time. I will try another bottle soon to see if this is representative. Outstanding and then some, but not emotional like the last bottle. . 94

March 5, 2020 - Zachys La Paulée "Warm-up" Dinner (Lafayette - New York NY): Small glass from magnum, brief note. Lush and ripe with ultra concentration to start, then more relaxed and zen from the middle forward with bright energy and impressive balance.

October 12, 2019 - Pale straw colour - oak and butter nose with a hint of lemon. A first gulp of butterscotch, but then mineral and lime flavours showing. Delicious.
