    November 11, 2022 - 1st of 2, good cork, decanted 1/2 hour.
Meidum/deep ruby/garnet core, medium garnet rim. Nose is a bit diffuse, shows red fruit, florals, a touch simple. Medium/full bodied on the palate, slightly confected red fruits, flashes of blackberry, quite supple and polished, moderate acids, harmonious finish that lingers nicely. Quite enjoyed this, now and next 2-3 years.

July 31, 2020 - Deep red colour. Liquorice, dark cherry and forest floor nose. Sarsaparilla, dark cherry, pepper and a little bit of vanilla flavours. Lovely, long finish - drinking well with a few more years left in it.

November 9, 2019 - Def time to drink up. Very good, still has some black fruit but good tertiary forest floor flavours. Tannins all gone.
Silly bottle weight, but I think they’ve resolved that with newer vintages

June 14, 2019 - quite a lightweight now but delicious nonetheless - would drink up though

March 9, 2019 - Like a warmer climate Northern Rhone, or to be fairer, a great SA Syrah. Drinking well, seems fully mature but not fading either. Fine blackberry fruit, some cherry and blueberry too. Smoky bacon. Bit of pepper. Nicely balanced in spite of the significant alcohol. Decent length. Very enjoyable, good wine.
