December 24, 2016 - Classic, nose with sweet tropisk fruit, honey. Taste is fruity, rich and balanced. High acidity, aftertaste perhaps lacking some length. Still, very good.

October 18, 2013 - CT Texas VI - Return to San Antonio; 10/18/2013-10/19/2013 (San Antonio): Nice nose aromas of fresh citrus, pear, coconut and pineapple. The palate is sweet with pear, coconut, and citrus, with a hint of minerality peeking through. Long sweet racy finish, good palate cleanser after some spicy appetizers.

May 27, 2013 - No formal notes - very fine bottle with good balance. Drinking very well, but will continue for a number of years. 90 points

July 30, 2011 - No formal notes, but well representative of a top-tier vineyard in a top-tier region from a top-tier producer, and a classic vintage to boot. Pomes, stones, and a perfect balance between acidity and sweetness.

June 17, 2011 - Tropical fruit, pear and minerality on the nose. The taste is very nicely balanced. It will last at least a decade from now, but I think optimum drinking time is in a few years. The wine is still very, very fresh.
