November 6, 2012 - Very nice. Red fruits and earth. Well balanced. Delicious.

September 5, 2012 - Darker ruby colour. Nose is a little tight at first, but opened up pretty quickly. The palate shows some blackberries and earthiness. The earthiness is more of a dirt component or almost cigar box than forest floor or barnyard. This bottle was more concentrated and lively than the last couple I have opened. There was also less heat evident. Good wine.

July 16, 2012 - Ligh ruby colour. Raspberries and a hint of earth in the background. Light bodied, a decent amount of acidity and some alcohol that unbalances the wine somewhat. This wine has seen better days and seems to be fading. Drink up now.

January 5, 2012 - Much better than the second bottle. This was much more fresh and fruity , good Fleurie.

December 22, 2011 - Hurry up and drink out. It is fast drying out and loosing its fruit. I think Coates is right when he says, that those Beaujolais Wines do not improve with age. If they are from a cru, a very good vintage (and producer) you should wait a year or two before opening but on avarage you should drink them earlier than later.

(Coudert "Clos de la Roillete" Fleurie) This was nice. Simple, supple, ripe wine with little or no tannin. Some nice spice aromas and flavors. Good acids and eminently quaffable. Seems like it will be an early drinker. I like the 2006 better.
