May 13, 2012 - Major Brett character, even after decanting for a couple of hours. Left open on the counter overnight. Better the next day, but still some Brett. Drinkable though.

July 25, 2011 - {cork, 12.5%} Mid garnet. Developing nose of spice, herb garden, twigs. Maybe a cherried nose? Fairly light and translucent palate, developing, with estery fruits and a twiggy, brambly quality that never lacks ripeness, despite the lowish alcohol. There are soft but dusty tannins, some tart acid grip, and fairly even palate. The finish is quite light-bodied, but of medium length. A refreshing wine, overall fairly simple, but pretty commendable for that. Clearly my last bottle in March was faulty.
