November 19, 2011 - I finally paired this wine better (in a typical white wine role accompanying seafood pasta) and it drank well enough to call it a favorable experience. It's made to be a lighter and really different red than the rest of the Cakebread lineup, a BBQ or picnic wine by design. I'd suggest giving it a try if you run across a bottle at a modest price but in a very different role than you typically assign a Cakebread red...
