  March 30, 2013 - A very nice wine, but it has two personalities: one on the PnP, and one about 2-3 hours later.
  
  On the PnP, it is astringent and displays ripping acidity with little fruit; even a brickish almost-oxidative taste.
  
  After giving the wine some air, silky smooth tannins surface, with sweet black fruits intermingled with bright red fruits.
  
  All said, I think this is best consumed in short order as I think it will not last much longer.

  December 23, 2012 - Don't know why so many other reviews are low. This wine was fabulous, in an interesting, old world way. Well structured, with restrained, chewy dark fruits that carried throughout the palate. Smooth, sweet tannins. Both tasty and interesting, hedonistic and intellectual. Definitely different and that might explain the scores. I wish I had more.

  March 8, 2012 - Funky minerality in both the nose and palate....also some fruit there perhaps cherry but seems quite off but not oxidized or corked.

  February 22, 2011 - Very light bodied and rather green. Crushed by minerality (think the slurry from a pavement saw), with not much else going on.
