December 12, 2013 - A solide barbera. Still alive.

October 13, 2010 - This is a solid barbera. Lots of sour cherry upfront, with a fair amount of barnyard, earth, and some chocolate/coffee. The sharp acidity of this wine just cries out to be matched with tomato-sauce pasta. Fresh but not lacking in presence, and quite well-balanced - if you can handle the acidity, that is.

March 30, 2010 - Great. No nose but don't let it full you, the complexity and opening of flavours is spectacular. Medium bodied, earthy with much berries and a hint of choclate. About 19£.

January 22, 2010 - Purple w hints of rose. Nose of black cherry, a little barnyard funk, dry earth, alcohol. Black cherry up front, dusty tannins, sour cherry, dry earth, and hint of chocolate. Gains complexity w air but never really comes together; finish is disjointed. Good QPR at under $20.
