    January 16, 2010 - Pretty ruby color. At first quaff, a fresh grass and asparagus nose with smoke. Nice. The vegetable nose dissipated with decanting. Very different and I'm not to familiar with Cab Franc but I liked the tar, smoke, earth and asparagus with the dark cherry fruit. Definitely not a fruit forward wine and very interesting. It shocked us at first but we all agreed it grew on us and improved with air showing more spice and fruit as it breathed out. Will be wanting more of this.

    June 22, 2009 - A lean, cigarette smoke nose, vegetal with some green wood. Excellent balance, acidity initially, then smooth, fine tannins on the mid-palate and a warming aspect at the back of the throat; this is a deliciously easy to drink wine with some cherry on the finish. Not overly fruity this is one for those that like edgy, medium bodied wine with a touch of the cabbage patch, as I do. 86-87pts.

    April 15, 2009 - Ruby red in the glass, this wine displays berry fruit and rustic earthy characters on the nose. The palate is medium to light bodied. It shows bright fruit, violets and a hint of spice. Soft tannins on the finish.
