January 23, 2011 - This wine has aged very nicely. It was a bit rough a year ago, but it is drinking very smoothly now. Really nice surprise.

November 30, 2008 - A nice nose of chocolate, cherries, and spice. All transferred over to the palate along with some leather and plum. Went well with some pizza. Enjoyed the fact that I didn't get raisin like I usually do in most Italian wines.
