August 30, 2020 - Light mahogany to the orange rim. Evolved nose with sous-Bois, leather sofa, some polish, marinated cherries and cherry stone, a hint of earth. A light and delicate palate, with light but typical stiff Beaune tannin, a continuation of tertiary notes with strawberry and rthubarb compote. Fair intensity through the palate with an energetic acidity and decent length.

September 6, 2018 - 5 magnums of this ideal easy-drinking wine for a large dinner party of uncritical friends after a walked-up day at Commondale. But it is very good, as well as providing easy drinking. Fully ready to go. Wonderful QPR at £26 per magnum, en primeur.
