February 20, 2012 - Smells a bit earthy, full bodied wine with light tannins and a smooth finish. Not as complex as I hoped but I agree with people's comments on it tasting yammy...in a good way. Also dark fruits maybe currant and blueberry are noticeable.

January 13, 2012 - Boy this wine has always been one of our favorites, but it sure wasn't tonight. This wine clearly did not age and it was over the hill, vegatable notes, little fruit left, and a short somewhat bitter after taste. This wine went from hero to zero, fast. We have more Elyse, so hopefully it was just this wine.
