    May 22, 2017 - Day 1 in Piedmont (Vietti, Prunotto, & Bartolo Mascarello) (Piedmont, Italy): One of the finer Roulot I can remember having. Everything seemed to be in harmony with this bottle - the aromas of sea salt, lemon, lime, & pear was exotic and crisp. The palate was so lithe and elegant, it reminded me (somewhat) of drinking mineral water. This, however, had much more going on than mineral water with kaleidoscopic tones of citrus, mineral, & fruit woven together. Delish!

    July 17, 2016 - My Birthday Burgs 2016 Session 1 (Kallang Way Extra Space): Poured into decanter and drank over 3 hours.
    Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow gold colour. Legs.
    Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of saline minerality, flinty stony minerals, citrus lemon, and roasted nuts and a light touch of butter with more air. Developed.
    On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (12.8%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of honey, nuts, saline minerality, flinty stones, citrus lemon-lime, ripe peach. Long finish. Excellent mouth-feel.
    Very good quality. Village that is on the level of many a Premier Cru. Oak is present but just a nice touch. Alas, did not pair well with oysters due to the oak presence. Drink on its own and enjoy.

    September 29, 2015 - Loads of minerality with tons of stone fruit and floral aromas. The body starts of slightly lean and gains intense flavour with time. This wine is a good example of having power and depth while being light on it's feet. The fruit was very pure and taut with clarity. The finish was pretty long. Much more focused, pure and minerally than the Lafon 2007 drunk beside it. A very well made wine of very high caliber. A joy to taste.
