August 12, 2018 - Lovely golden yellow colour. Slight oak notes on the nose, ripe apple.
It delivers on the palate also. Great precision, med+ body, alcohol, intensity of aromas and acidity. Not quite to the Montrachet status but clearly a Grand Cru. 2007 wasn't an outstanding vintage so could be that I guess. But so happy to have a clean and excellent 11yr old white burgundy! -

September 20, 2016 - This bottle does not live up to the vintage and ct score. Very ripe yellow fruit, strong big oak and low acidity. This is not a 07 montrachet by any standard. It tastes more like a 05 bbm to me. Too ripe.

November 6, 2015 - A really impressive wine for its sheer power and richness but not delineated to really reveal itself for me, butterscotch, oak, lemon, and hazelnut were the dominant flavors; the palate showed many layers but similar to the nose they were not yet revealing themselves, the mineral and searing acid on the finish kept this interesting; needs more time to shed baby fat which it had copious amounts of today.

April 12, 2014 - A Saturday Night in KW (Dave's House): Just an epic wine and my white burg epiphany. Wow! Fabulous nose from the first pour at a cool cellar temperature and it picked up steam as it went. Really amazing nose of: caramelized bananas, cashews, mixed melon, lemon oil, mixed florals, perfume, mint, cinnamon, lemongrass, mineral, fresh light sawdust, vanilla custard and hints of spicy botrytis. Nose is expansive and spans the citrus, melon, orchard, stone and tropical fruit spectrums. Incredibly powerful and amazing. Palate is far from heavy, showing amazing lightness when you consider the nose, replaying mineral, herbs and mint. The finish -while long- just kind of evaporates and is so elegant and light. Excellent showing on this evening. 96+. Oak became more apparent as it warmed so my advice would not to let this get too warm. Special shout-out to Andrew for sharing this!

April 12, 2014 - Saturday Night in KW (Dave's House): Popped and poured, followed approximately one hour. Golden in colour, looking relatively advanced for its age. Once it warms a touch in the glass, the nose is really quite boisterous, revealing notes of lemon zest, peach, green apple, mineral, sea water, florals, lemon grass, baking spice, menthol and a touch of hazelnut. On the palate, lovely texture and viscosity, medium plus acidity, and a long, slightly bitter finish characterized by tastes of lemon zest, salt water, mineral, spice, fresh herbs and green apple skin. While quite young, this drinks wonderfully now, and the new wood is very well integrated.
