August 8, 2021 - A Spontaneous & Inspired Sunday Afternoon (Los Alamos & Los Olivos, CA): The first of my six of these was badly premoxed, so I moved the rest into a food refrigerator (out of spite, I suppose?). Inspiration struck, and I grabbed one and pulled the solid cork while waiting for the next bottle to warm a bit. To my surprise and great pleasure, this one was in fine form, with a touch of reduction quickly giving way to loads of concentrated, ripe orchard fruit notes, complemented by some light lemon. This was a rich, unctuous wine. Plenty of acidity, too. This outperformed in every respect.

April 28, 2020 - Light yellow. Peach, apricot fruit. Exotic spice notes on the finish. Plenty of crisp minerality. The fruit has faded significantly- the underlying acidity dominates at this stage. Probably past prime- at least no oxidative flavors in this bottle.
