August 1, 2018 - In restaurant in Paris where the sommelier warned there were some bottles that were ageing (which probably reflects some of the tasting notes below).
this bottle was a brilliant yellow, lots of fruit on the nose, slightly reductive, a lot of chalky mineral extract, citrus and tooth-coating finish. For sure this bottle is easily 1e cru quality and has years of life left.
(the day after I had the Tessons Clos de Mon Plaisir 07 from Roulot) which was similar, extremely mineral and slightly austere and dry - have to say Morey on this occasion showed better.
