May 27, 2023 - From magnum again. Better than before, aged and elegant with red fruit setting like the sunset.

November 16, 2019 - From magnum. A nice aged old world wine but rather nondescript. Lacking depth and texture. A few years ago I remember enjoying this at the winery much more.

July 16, 2016 - What a beautiful, mature wine, the ‘05 Silvio Nardi Brunello was showing gorgeous dusty floral tones, spice and bright ripe cherry, in a feminine and quite pretty style. On the palate, I found vibrant textures with persistent spiced cherry and inner floral tones, as it remained balanced and light on it’s feet. The finish was fresh and long with a coating of fine spice and tannin. It looks like it may be time to start checking on our ‘05 Brunellos.

April 12, 2015 - The cork was stained about half it's length. Weak nose; deep red color, browning around the edge. Definitely ready NOW. Tannins well integrated, tasty black fruit and medium finish. Not overly complex, but enjoyable.

December 15, 2012 - Nice fruit forward Brunello. Not overly complex but well worth the price. Soft tannins settled down within an hour of opening. Nice leather and plum with a medium finish. I'll be doing this again if Costco still has stock.
