  December 16, 2020 - Very nice winter weekday lockdown wine. Remember this wine when young with his monster tannins. Now everything is nicely in place. Bouquet of blackberries, thyme and some black truffles. Still quite young and full bodied, this blockbuster aged gracefully. Something which doesn’t always work for other high rated young wines. Can still be enjoyed over the next 5 years.

  July 1, 2019 - Weekly tasting group RWP #335; Some random wines (@ My place): Beautiful, complex and impressive bouquet with ripe blackberries and cherries. On the palate the same fruits, juicy and tasty and still remarkably youthful. Some eucalyptus and a pleasant touch of sweetness. Beautiful and full bodied with round tannin. What a great pity this is my last bottle. 92

  December 6, 2015 - Opened a Magnum for Santa Claus Dinner - very dark ruby color - long legs - nose fruity with mediteran herbs - complex and powerful with blackberry and hints of leather - long finish; this wine is in perfect condition and I don't think it will improve!
