December 19, 2015 - Very lovely and light. Has cedar notes, vanilla, light leather and a sweet berry character, not a huge finish and might be too light for some food pairings. There's also a perfumed/floral thing that makes this very enticing. It is definitely at it's peak. Another year and it would lose something.

November 23, 2014 - Garnet with a hint of brick at the edges, aromatic nose of black fruit, anise and a vegetal note, the palate is balanced with soft acidity and velvety tannins, black cherry, black currant, tobacco and wood. Medium long finish pleases. This could be at its peak at the moment.
