July 22, 2015 - Popped and poured. Paired with a New York steak. Amazing bottle of wine. This is hitting on all cylinders right now. The texture is like putting on silk pajamas and sliding into satin sheets. Soft and supple without any hint of flabbiness. Plenty of fruit on the palate, with notes of strawberry, red currant and cherry. Aromas of clove, cardamom and thyme that then shifted into charred meat. Just an all around WOW bottle.

January 15, 2010 - WOW! This is just really singing. I wish I had a ton more of this right now.

Deep garnet color with slight cherry rim. Nose of cherries and saddle leather. The fruit is still very vibrant but well balanced with a wonderful blackberry, black cherry and cola notes upfront with a full bodied mouth feel and silky tannins leaving an extremely long finish.

November 6, 2009 - Subdued nose. Nice red fruit, good finish, sweet tannins.

February 13, 2009 - I think that i could pick one of Tim's red blends out of a blind lineup due to the distinct buttered corn aroma. This bottle was no different. Dark purple color. the dark fruits that once dominated the nose of this wine have retreated into the background. What's left is a cornucopia of secondary aromas. A little bit of tobacco, some mint, black pepper and spices. Flavors are dominated by the sweet toast of the oak, but not so much to be overpowering. Nice finish that lasted a while. Would purchase again.

July 26, 2008 - Decanted, not much sediment. Fruit is starting to fade a little bit and the wine is becoming more complex. Nose has plum and tobacco. Tannins were in check and the wine had a nice long finish. Would purchase again.
