May 28, 2011 - Strong dark fruit with licorice, kirsch-like flavor on the finish. Enjoyable but a bit out of balance. Still good depth of flavor and a nice hedonistic wine.

January 12, 2011 - major licorice liqueur type flavors. good grenache (i'm assuming it's mostly grenache). If this was 18 dollar spanish grenache, I'd be thrilled, but for a 36-40 dollar wine, I'm not impressed. Definitely a 90 pt wine, but lacking much QPR in my opinion.

July 7, 2010 - Looong, long passage, though a bit over oaked, grenache is the varietal that can best handle oak, thus a long, long, and graceful and rewarding passage. Quite explosive at the end, with its bountiful fruit and umf from over oak. Really nice.
