Community Tasting Notes 2

December 18, 2010 - Young Barolo vs. Brunello; 12/18/2010-12/19/2010 (Haslams House): Wine #6. Dark red color. Nose was great (rose petals / sour cherry / earthy) but palate was a let down from nose. Tasted pretty new world (fruit dominated) on palate with heavy tannins and medium finish.

October 12, 2008 - Classical Europe: Very full bodied and complex wine. A lot of bitterness and new oak in the finish. Very long aftertaste. This wine is much too young. But a promise for the future. Hope to try it again in let's say 7 years from now. The score can only be higher.
