August 21, 2013 - deeply pig'd; aromas and flavors of black cherry and plum on tannic spine w/ ample acids- drinking my residual stock soon

May 18, 2013 - Our last bottle of this wine. It is still loaded with jammy fruit which comes on strong after 11/2-2hrs of airtime. Dark red in color with no bricking, mostly red fruit, raspberry and cherry, tannins have integrated, the strong oak has disappeared, alcohol seems to have subsided also. Medium length pleasant finish.

January 16, 2013 - Dark youthful ruby. Urgently perfumed with sweet raspberry and fresh floral notes. Peppery on the palate with palatal warmth pushing the nice perfume to higher peak. Hard to believe this is a teenager.

August 19, 2010 - Pop & Pour Dark Ruby red; fresh red raspberries nose, hint of dark choc/coffee, nice cola notes too; smooth rich primary fruit flavors, mostly black cherry with some red/black raspberry fruit flavors, cola; big bodied tannin and fruit in balance but not on the "subtle" side; med long finish.
A fresh fruit salad kind of complexity, not beef bourgogne.

    June 21, 2010 - Decanted 30 minutes
Ruby red; complex nose beginning with cola/black cherry, changing to black olives, sl vinegar note which blew off after20- 30 min, settled into strawberry aroma; full bodied rich black cherry, dark chocolate flavors, surprisingly primary fruit still, finishes with obvious but not overwhelming oak flavors; med long finish, very big wine, well made but structured more like Syrah than Pinot. Doesn't have the smoothness of classic ripe PN
