April 12, 2015 - I would definitely recommend decanting this wine as it took about an hour to open up. Opaque purple in color with a nose of black fruits and some pepper. Creme de cassis on the palate with a long long finish.

February 21, 2015 - Popped and poured. Initially super concentrated fruit in a lush framework. Over the 2 hours of drinking, the fruit receded and allowed pepper, earth notes to emerge. Full bodied, long finish. Had on a snowy evening when family ended up sleeping over because of the snow.
