December 22, 2009 - Tasted the night after the Kim Crawford SB and this stands up just fine to it; more French in its style; very little grassy flavors and more lemon and minerality; little tight on the finish, but still a very well made wine; great value and a very good food wine

July 31, 2009 - Nice grapefruit, grass and guava on the nose. Lemon, grapefruit on the attack and mid-palate and some guava on the finish. Somewhat out of balance - searingly high acidity makes the wine somewhat unpleasant and difficult to drink without food.

New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs including Cloudy Bay, Episode #653, 4/6/2009 (link) 86 points(Allan Scott Sauvignon Blanc) #3; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-light golden; NOSE-classic NZ Sauv Blanc; grass is exploding; some fig action too; lemon scented Mr. Clean; lemon peel; very aromatic; TASTE-a little aluminum action; an aluminum bat w/ lemon juice on it; kind of basic, good mid-palate transition, but get kind of austere on the finish; textbook NZ Sauv Blanc, but I feel I can get this for $7-$10 bones; well structured, but lacking charisma; GV-86
