February 28, 2010 - The cork had deteriorated and so I pushed it through and decanted the wine through a screen. It smelled clean with no vinegar scent. The wine tasted smooth on the palate with a slight bite in the middle. Not very complex. Sweet finish with a bit of tannic aftertaste.
