September 21, 2014 - Very dark red color with a clear 2mm meniscus. PNP, drank 2+ glasses over 2 hours. This was really quite nice, and drinking at what I believe is peak. Nose shows dry earth, graphite, tobacco, cassis, black cherry, and some brighter red berry. The palate is medium-full bodied, very nicely balanced and well integrated with an appealing wood presence, gravel, earth, graphite, tar, red and black fruits. This is quite sleek and has very pleasant round ready tannins with a medium finish. Very well made. Excellent value out of Bordeaux, 90+pts.

January 16, 2012 - More jammy than standard Bordeaux; delicate nose

August 19, 2011 - Earthy, deep purple, floral.....all I remember: $89.00 @ l'auberg chez Francois. Cheapest margaux they had. Paired with lobster bisque: not good. With onion soup: excellent. With boulliabase ok; Alsace seafood with lobster reduction: ok.

February 18, 2011 - A bit bright but easy to drink quickly. Doesn't need to breathe too long. Not very complex but tasty

July 7, 2010 - A favorite Bordeaux for under $25. Dark purple with cherry, plum, gravel and light wood on the nose and palate. Medium finish and smooth tannins. This is a drink me now Bordeaux!
