March 15, 2011 - Bot due to Jancis in FT - Agreeable but shy. Drinks beautifully. Medium mouthfeel. Lots of earth with restrained fruits. The tannins are way back there but noticeable graininess on the finish. All in all a great food wine now -curious what this is like young but doubt more time brings more interest. Fun to explore more...

October 9, 2010 - 100% St Laurent. It aged 18 months in 3 year old oak barrels.
    Decanted for 1 hour.
I've never tried any wine made with St Laurent (distant relative of Pinot Noir) and I must say that this one really impressed me. It's very nice and complex on the nose with lots of cherries, oak, tobacco and some mild herbal scents. On the palate, this is medium bodied with very nice acidity, elegant, balanced with enough tannins that stands up red meats or codfish. Highly recommended!! 90+

March 14, 2009 - Very pure cherry and strawberry like flavors that it extremely well suited to food and clearly identifiable as St. Laurent.
