Golden colour.
Nose: Seawater, minerals, oak (butter/corn). With more air comes very Semillon like notes of wax and linoleum.
Taste & palate: Medium to light body. More acidity than fruit, although not dried out yet.
Quite typical expression of La Chablisienne´s ripe and slightly oaky style from a "ripe" year, aged quite a bit beyond its peak. Still, in these premox times, I can´t help also being a little impressed by an 18 year old half bottle of Chablis which is still quite alive... -

April 21, 2008 - Very nice structure, though likely in decline. Fruit is fading. Grape, star fruit, lemon and grass.
