October 11, 2009 - Hmm. The previous two scores by other members (without notes) are 94. I don't see it. This has great color and much tannic structure. Perhaps we drank it too soon, but I can't see this being close to 94. Fruit is good, not great. Very tannic. Really not very well balanced. Not at all "bright". Not enough acid? A bit bitter on the finish, which is of good length. The bitterness is making me think of going lower with the rating. If I had another bottle, I'd decant it at least 2-3 hours.
