  April 17, 2019 - A fine example of a modern style aged Blaufränkisch. Sweet cherries, sour blackberries, plums, milk chocolate and coffee flavors, a bit of heat on the finish at room temperature, silky tannins and good length. No longer features bright primary fruit flavors, but this is still drinking very well. - 90 points

  November 9, 2017 - Mature and soft, nice mix of black and red fruit, cherries, vanilla oak, spices and milk chocolate, "mon cherie" flavors, a modern style, but quite fresh with high acidity, a feature I have found in many 2007s recently which I did not notice so much when the wines were young. This is at peak now. Time to drink. - 90 points

  September 21, 2013 - Hm. Maybe it was just me or i had a very good day yesterday ... liked this bottle very much (still something for today). This 2007 vintage also has that smell of spice (some call it "flower garden") like any red wine of 2011 coming from Burgenland. Good body and nice long finish.
