November 10, 2023 - Cork completely disintegrated even with an ah so. Several years since I had a bottle of this, and this bottle still has quite a bit of life to it. Sour cherry pie, earth and some warming spice on the nose. Palate still has more of the cherry pie thing going, along with an appropriate amount of sous bois, leather, and barnyard, with largely resolved tannins that still present as slightly rustic, but soulful. This is California Pinot, by way of Pegaü and it works wonderfully.

August 18, 2023 - Translucent cherry red color. Bit musty on the nose. Soft on the palate, faded strawberry fruit. Fine tannins, good acidity and balance. Finishes long and subtle with strawberry notes. Past prime but pleasant. Drink up.

April 19, 2020 - Crunchy red fruit in front of stone and granite, with soft tannins and good tang & lift on the finish. Yum.

April 15, 2020 - Darker in color than the En Haut. Mid Sangria with a every so slightly cloudy tone.

Weightier nose. High toned with rose petal, wet earth and black cherries.

Cherries on the palate, mix of red and black. Weightier and richer than the En Haut. Long finish carried by good (but not huge) acid. The tannins are maybe drying a little. Finishes with a hint of liqueur.

March 22, 2020 - Very nice wine, holding well. Cranberry predominating. Not about to fall off a cliff but no need to hold further. Silky.
